Dropped about 3/3.5" on 285/50/20s, he's removing the flares soon. I hooked him the same bilsteins as my truck and it rides sooo butter, I almost thought it had a v6 when I drove it tho.

SWEET!!! I know what you mean...going from driving a 6.0L to a 5.3L is like going from a 5.3L to a 4.3L...lol...night and day difference!

Does lowering a Tahoe (all wheel drive) hinder its performance in the snow?

No..unless you plan on going through some deeper powder...however, on the roads...AWD is going to react the same..it has to do with traction from the tires..not necessarily how high your frame/body sits above the ground.

Thats why you still see Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Corvettes driving through snow storms. And since you wont be driving at high speeds or taking corners like your evading the police, the suspension modifications wont benefit much.

Good tires and AWD = perfection in snow

however, if your low...dont try 4x4ing..and if you slide into a ditch, the fact that your lowered will obviously make it harder and more painful(on your bumpers/side steps) for you to be pulled out
