So forgive me everyone, I feel like a dummy asking this. The kit I ordered will come with a 1" spacer. What does the spacer do? How will a 2" spacer effect it? Will it lower it more? Could I do this myself later on and is it easy? Sorry I just don't understand how it all works. And nbr, pm me on what you want for the 2" spacers.

The spacer goes under the spring in the rear to add an inch of clearance. I had them put it in when I had my drop put on and it looks good. Also it's not terribly hard to take out if you want the rear end 1 inch lower
d89de5ae.jpgif u can see the black piece under the spring that is the spacer, so it's a 2/3 drop with the spacer in and a 2/4 drop with it out. Also heres a pic. My spacer is in

Awesome. Thats perfect. The pics really help. Thanks for helping me with that I kinda felt dumb asking. What size is the spacer tho? Is it the 1", 1.5", or 2"?

My mechanic said I could watch/help as well so I will def. take pics and post them up.

I got the exact same kit, it comes with a 1" spacer. In reference to your first post, I cut my bump stops off after the drop cause the frame was resting on them and causing it to be a rough ride, so I cut about 3 inches off of them and left about an inch so if it did hit it wouldn't be metal on metal.

I don't have a pic on hand and I am out of town atm. I should be home tomorrow and I can do it then, and it's no problem man, that's what we are all here for, to give and receive advice :)

So I got the drop done today and can't be happier. Its level like I want and seems to ride like before. It is pretty low, more than I expected, but I am still happy. The pic on the left is the stock set-up, the pic on the right is after the drop. Once spring comes, I can put the rims back on, then...good pics will be posted. Let me me know what everyone thinks!

I kept the spacer in the rear for the three. I don't think I would want a four after seeing the three. Just seems too low for what i'm after.
