I need to adjust my rear 11in drum brakes, question is when going from behind the wheel, which direction do I move the star wheel with my screwdriver? Thanks

If they aren't adjusting themselves you should take it apart clean everything up. Grease the adjuster and replace any parts that are too worn to move freely. When you change the rear pads i usually adjust them so the drum just slips on and spins freely. Then operate the ebrake a few times and it usually sets it right where they need to be.

cant recall my self but to say what ever direction spreads them out on the left is the opposite direction for the right. i think the one on the right spread the shoes when the star teeth nearest the access hole were moved up and outward or clockwise when behind the screws axis looking to front of vehicle.
