DSM lowering kit didn’t lower the back. I got a 2 and 2 inch lowering kit for my 2011 Tahoe.

Front dropped about 2 inches. Rear only dropped 1/4 inch. I called them and told them it is a PPV. They said that because PPVs are already lowered that I should have ordered a 4 inch lowering to get 2 inches of drop. Does this sound right?

Yup, because the front PPV struts/springs are the same across the board for all Tahoes (PPV/LS/LT/LTZ), only the rear springs are different for PPV.
