Gordy......... If you have both front tires off the ground , they will both spin freely ( in any direction you want to spin them). when you are in park & 2wd.

Now........the G80 is a "rear " locking differential....... and if you have both rear tires off the ground , "both" tires will spin, But in opposite direction.

So if only one front tire is jacked why won't it spin freely in any direction?

Just found this thread... answered you in the other one.

BTW, you probably can't lock the G80 rear diff spinning the tires by hand... there must be a 100rpm difference in speed across the rear tires to sling out the engagement pawl.
