Duramax into a Tahoe

Whassup Fellas, I'm New to the group and don't know if this has been asked yet, but, I have a 95 Tahoe 5.7 4x4 and am looking to make my truck a cross between a hummer and a raptor. So...
I'm thinking of an 07 Duramax w/turbo and with Allison trans. What would be the nightmares I'd face

You're looking at swapping EVERYTHING... computer(s), motor, transmission, electrical (12v vs. 24v), fuel system, and axles/suspension (diesels are HEAVY relative to gas motors).

Can it be done? Yes. Is it a hard? Yes. Are you going to have a lot of money wrapped up in it? Yes.

All in all after seeing guys that have done the swap, most say they wouldn't do it again into a GMT400. After all the work, you still have a 20 year old truck.
