I am going to the BB Tuning meet in 2 weeks and I have a set of E-Fans coming in tomorrow, along with exhaust and headers, which I haven't purchased the harness for yet. I should also be receiving the module for the tune shortly as well. My questions are as follows:

Should I have any and all mods, including 93 octane gas for the 2 weeks prior, completed before I install the module? Or can I install them gradually leading up to the event with the module in?

Also, I need an E-fan harness but I am not sure what needs to be done to have the pins turned on. Or if possible, depending on the above question, is this something that I could possibly do at the event and have the pins turned on then?

Justin will be turning your pins on at the meet during your tune, so don't worry about that and don't worry about your e-fans install until after your tune!! As for the fuel you will be running, be sure to have the new fuel in by the time of the meet, not necessary to run the octane weeks before. Just get the fuel in and at least drive a bit before the meet on the new octane and you should be good!!
Get the module and install it sooner than later, that way you have time to do the security relearn and if you have any problems with it, you will have plenty of time to fix them!!
Get your exhaust and headers on before the meet!

I scored my fans from a local U-pull it junkyard, from a 2006. Don't forget to take the mounting bolts too. If you can't get the bolts, its the same bolts that hold your radiator on. So any 00-06 radiatior bolts will work for bolting up your new fans.

anyone have a step by step guide on installing the harness? I gave it to my uncle to put in while he has my truck anyway, but he doesn't know where the pins are going to.

*Edit: Nevermind, found the one from blizz
