I used to work at Bessler Auto Parts in N. Kentucky. They are a family owned recycle yard and take special care when removing engines. They make sure they run and offer a warranty if you have any problems. We sold a lot of engines and hardly ever had any come back. They can even tell you how many miles it had before coming out. So, ebay no. Recycle yard with warranty, yes.

If it was local and you could go see it, sure. I've bought both heads and complete engines this way ... if it's a no-name shop out of state you should assume half the shit they tell you is a lie. If it's still worth it then go for it. :D
