Edge CTS?

Any guys here run Edge programmers? How do you like them? Worth the $?

I have the edge evolution programmer. It is ok if you want the basics but If you are going to spend the money on the CTS I would get a autocal BlackBear tune. Justin will make your Tahoe run so much better than the Edge would be able to do. I am trying to sell a couple things so I can get the autocal tune done.

Save the money and get a BBTune from what everyone else is saying u wont regret it. you can only do so much with those piggy back programmers.

I had one for my Jeep SRT8 and it was decent....came with 4 'canned' tunes but I saw the most gains from a custom tune associated with the CMR software from an outside vendor. You could also adjust for tire size, when your fans would turn on or off, etc.

Not sure for this platform though, seems like the general consenus is a BB tune....might have to look into that

The Edge is probably the best of the handheld programmers, plus it is expandable. That being said an Autocal from BB is by far better than any handheld..PERIOD! I still run the Edge, but as a gauge only...I like the option of monitoring 4 different parameters in one compact display.

Yeah I'm pretty sure I want to go the BB AutoCal route, but then I may add an Edge Insight down the road so I can keep tabs on some parameters. The Insight allows 8 to be displayed at one time.

Yea I think i'll get an AutoCal eventually. I went to a meet and got him to tune it in person instead of logging via email/using the autocal. I don't know much about the Edge but ever since I got the BBT, my car drives much smoother both in the city and on the highway.
