Just thought I would share a couple pics of the efficiency of my CAI set-up. As you can see ambient air temp(AAT) was very high, taken last week during the heatwave that hit most of the country. As you can see while cruising I was achieving no heat soak in the intake...second pic is after idling for 5-6minutes. Set-up is AirAid cold air box, custom 4" intake tube, LS3 90mm throttle body. Cold air box has holes drilled thru the bottom and is wrapped in insulating wrap as is the intake tube. Oh forgot to mention that IAT sensor has been relocated to just before the throttle body in the intake tube.
