EGR cleaning vs. replacing

i know when i went to buy the new gasket there was a $0.68 gasket and a $14 gasket for vin code R....any one guess which one my truck took...

check the vin i think its the 8th digit (maybe wrong) cant rememeber for sure but see if its a r then there you go
