So I didnt think there was a difference in the 04 and 05 tahoes and yukons, but I was wrong. I bought a CAI for an 05 and didnt realize the 05s have E-fans. Now Im in the market for an e-fan set up. Does anyone know of a best bang-for-buck set up?

There was a recent thread on this subject but i couldn`t find it. Some people use aftermarket fans that are cheaper with no problems and others have the OE fans from an 05+ yukon/tahoe like these

The link also states that in order to fit these on an older tahoe/yukon you need to upgrade to a 34 inch radiator and you also need a wiring harness to hook it all up.

I hope that helps.

Sure did, but my radiator is 38" across. Im wondering if the 05-06 oem will bolt up. Everyone talks about the 34" radiator, but mine is 38 across.

You need to measure it from the core only not the side tanks, so it would make it 34" if you do not include the side tanks. Make sense?
