HELP!
2004 yukon w/180K miles. 5.3 (i believe) great overall shape, but having transmission slippage issues.
upon shifting from either park or reverse into drive, transmission wants to start in 3rd gear, and stay there (occasionally). i have had electrical issues in the past, replaced fuse box, computer, a few other things, and this MAY be related to a bad ground (i hope)

i pulled the following codes:

p0740 torque converter clutch solenoid
p0753 shift solenoid a
p0758 shift solenoid b
p2761 tcc pc solenoid
p0785 shift timing a

question is........... can anyone help me find the bad ground or bad power wire that i think is the culprit, or do i have to tear the tranny open and deal with the solenoids themselves??

any help is appreciated in advance
thanks!

Hopefully Rockola1971 will chime in. The resident trans specialist. You could be on the money though with a ground problem. The list of codes should point him somewhere to help.
