So due to my last failed post with the instrument cluster. I'm concerned that there is more to the electrical issue than just the cluster.

I had my cluster sent out to be remanned. When I got it back I installed it and to my surprise. Only the rpm gauge works, but that's just as far as gauges go. I now have a check engine light on (has always been on), battery light on, airbag light on, abs light on and some light that is a picture of a car and a master lock ( what ever that means). That back lights work also.

Too add on to those issues there's the intermittent issue of the cluster not always working at all not even the back lights, including the interior lights staying with out even hitting the light switch, the door locks and windows not working. Even with the remote it'll sound as if you unlocked it while the remote start is on doors don't unlock, but when I turn it off the remote works for both lock and unlock.

Has anyone encountered this? Could this be a grounding issue with the BCM or elsewhere? :yuno::emotions122:

Someone Please Help!!

Did you install this remote start? If not, I'd be telling them to fix it

No the hoe is used with 224k on it well more but the odometer doesn't count mileage right now so I don't know the true milage

Should the hoe be running with the bum removed?

So new discovery. My remanned cluster is the culprit for the door locks, windows and other functions not working. I unplugged it and BAM! everything works perfectly normal. So I wonder if it was something they did to the cluster for it to cause these problems. I'm going to contact the company I sent the cluster out to and see what they say. I have a feeling they will tell me to just purchase another cluster from them. Is there a pinout diagram for the cluster harness?

And my final Update. I have the issue completely fixed. It turns out that who ever tried to fix the cluster before me placed the vehicle speed signal wire in the wrong pin hole on the cluster connector. I put it back in the right place and everything thing works. I think my needles are slightly off, but that's an easy fix, but also something i can live with for now. Now I need to fix the oil pressure sending unit because my oil pressure gauge is pinned at 80.

Thanks for your response and help though. Now that the huge weight is relived off my shoulders I can get everything else mechanically up to par and then upgrades :elephant::evillol::favorites37:
