Electrical Problems

I just went ahead and ordered an alternator. I'll be able to get it swapped out and upgrade the wiring next week.

I was able to get the new alternator installed and everything looks good so far. I'll keep driving it and monitoring it until I can upgrade the wiring .

New alternator completely resolved these issues. Until tonight.

I drove my truck up the road to grab some things at the store. On the way home, I got the Stabilitrak error and my navigation unit lost power. Pulled into the driveway and shut it off. It was completely dead again.

After it sat for a bit, I went back out and wiggled the wires attached to the firewall. They felt hot to the touch, but I heard a click and had power back.

I guess I'm back to square one again.
