Emblem swap front and rear 2018 Yukon

I can't find a clear answer. I want to swap the front and rear GMC emblems to a black version. Can this be done without removing the front grill? I read somewhere that the rear is just glued on. Is that true?

I know the rear is just glued on. I just de-badged the rear GMC and YUKON emblems. Use a heat gun and a piece of fishing string to go behind the emblem to separate it from the cover. You can use a 3M eraser wheel to remove the residue or your fingernail and some goof off worked for me.

Front grill has to come off. There are screws behind the emblem.

agreed, generally there are studs holding the front on.
replacements with just use adhesive. rears are adhesive.
