Hey all
I was in for inspection and emissions today, which failed on emissions because the battery died during the test. The test is 5 minutes long. This is kind of disturbing, as the battery is only 6 months old.
Of course this means the computers reset, and I have to drive maybe 100 miles or so before going back in to get a pass.
I'm about to take a long trip with the family, and don't want to end up stranded. Is there an easy or creative way to test my battery here in the driveway to determine if this was a fluke, if my battery is crap, or if there is something doing a major drain that can kill it in 5 minutes?
Thanks!
