I have an 2006 Yukon Denali with 36700 miles and noticed the 'Engine Check Light' was on. Everything seems to be fine and the only difference from any other day is that its warmer (70 degrees in Seattle). I've heard of replacing the O2 sensor, but are there any other past issues for this model? Any assistance is appreciated.

You need to take it somewhere and have the codes pulled from the computer, some auto parts places will let you borrow or rent a code reader, but you need to know what your check engine light is calling out for as a problem to diagnose further!!

first thing man take past an autozone or somelpace and get the code scanned so we could help u more on ur cel... but as far as issues that i know of is o2 sensors, the electronic brake control module, weak transmissions, squeaky serpentine belts, and gauges is all i can think of for the moment

You need to get the codes read to find out what the problem is, most likely it is an EVAP system problem. Could be as simple as a loose (or stripped) gas cap or one of the solenoids to be broken. No way to tell until you get the code read.
