I'll get things going I guess.
Some before and after pics.
All stock, paint is cheap, and I'm spending engine Mod money on a vehicle that'll be a little more cost per second friendly in the quarter.

SW CT,
looks good...nothing special about mine, just painted the engine cover red, and did a cai with 4" tube all wrapped in insulation(heat reduction) and my catch can is visible...headers and wires are a bit deeper in the bay to get good overall pics.

That looks sweet John, that makes me want to dress up my engine a little. Did you do that yourself?

Yeah, i did it myself with a little help from this forum.
I used Krylon plastic paint in a rattle can and used a degreaser to prep and scuffed up the shiny bit a little to help things stick. Took each piece off and used very thin coats, almost a fine mist, because if you go with heavy coats it will not only get runs but worse it will get fish eyes no matter how much you prep. It took a few practice runs on a scrap piece of plastic to get it right as far as how much paint to use, (i used the lid of the rattle can to practice on) and once i had that mastered it was just a matter of patience to get it done.
I like to see the finished product quickly and it took a lot of restraint not to keep adding the coats of paint to quick.
