My co-worker who sits within earshot is on his second engine failure on the same vehicle and is at an impasse with GM. GM is supposed to be replacing the vehicle, but they are just running him in circles and ignoring him.

It has been a month and still no word on a replacement engine for my 2023 Tahoe 6.2. My wife and I are now thinking of looking at the Ford Expedition or the F150. I pull a 6500 lb camper and when the engine seized we were almost killed because of the traffic. GM doesn’t seem to care. I have been an GM person for a long long time. Opinions, please.
Sorry to hear this.

Incidentally, when the engine seized, did the vehicle still steer "normally" with no engine power? How about the brakes? Did they operate normally?
