Hey guys any help or suggestions would be great:

Other day heater fan stopped working, found out ground wire that goes to fan was fried. I pulled the HVAC fuse and Blower fuse and fixed wire to fan. return fuses, fan working again but now battery dead. :/
Jumped batt. After that when I put key in and turned to ACC. all interior dash lights were blinking, weird so went to turn over several times and engine will start up every time then immediately shut off. Also all of the sudden power to stereo stays on even after removing key exiting vehicle and shutting door. I gave up for today as it was raining pretty good in my driveway. Any Ideas?

Maybe have battery tested. These trucks do wield things with low voltage. Check battery cables hot and grounds also there are some body grounds like body to rear of drivers side head. Also I think one is behind left front inning fender liner. Some of the other guys probably can give some more locations. Also sounds like antitheft needs relearning I am not sure about our trucks but the older ones put on charger leave key on ignition till security light goes out key off back on til light goes out key off back on three times total last third time it should start . I am sure someone will chime in for 06 . And if you can have truck scanned for codes that my help . Maybe ignition switch codes.

How old is the battery? I would change it for a great quality known good one but then again, I like spending other people's money.

haha, radio stays on & drains battery all night - yep. Easy simple workaround, leave radio on, turn off key take out, exit vehicle...radio still on, now for the fix, open another door(cuz driver door shut sensor is malfunctioning), shut it & voila - Radio is off - No power drain
