Go to LS1tech.com and you will find more than you need to know. Most of the swap would be direct fit as far as motor mounts, transmission housing to block, etc. Need to verify things like flex plate, harness adapters, trans control module to engine control module connectivity and such. There may be some re-landing of wires to make the bcm happy as well. Also, on a 12, the fans would be electric, so the radiator and shroud need to be in scope. Not impossible just time consuming and potentially tedious. I have owned 92, 99, 02, 06, 07, 14, and 17 models. The 5.3 is smoother and more efficient power in my opinion, but when you swap, you are the tech support for your vehicle. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.
