supercharger if you want to get there quick but there are other ways to get close to it

I was thinking about that, but would I be better off with a bigger engine offering more horsepower? Or just to beef up the 350?

And if I were to install a supercharger, would there be anything else that would need to be upgraded as well?

Hey hey guys, I may be new to these trucks but I am not dumb. Sorry, but I do appreciate the help. As far as swaps go, any suggestions for more horsepower?
I'd like to get around 400hp if possible.

put a 383 in it. supercharger it. 4l80e transmission. that should give you some good gains. i like more torque in a big vehicle like ours... more torque gets it moving easier

x2 to be honest a 383 is just a bored over 350 perfect platform id say make it a 383 CAI,MAF,full exhaust ect.... and a black bear tune and you should be satisfied honestly i said supercharger for this id get forged internals unless you run really low boost seeing as your truck already has a decent amount of miles on it a supercharger will def shorten the life span unless built

A bored over 350 would be a 355, a 383 is a bored and stroked 350.

Still I good choice though. If I ever have to rebuild my 350 its going to be upgraded to a 383.
