I get an engine whine in all my speakers after installing a 4 channel amp.
I have: installed new shielded RCA cables, ran the power wire on the opposite side of the RCAs, installed a noise filter, nothing.

I think I have to find a better ground under my center console.

Anybody know of anything? Where I can Ground it, what can be causing this?

Thanks

You can judge my ground.

Make sure you have a good clean ground! Take a peice of sand paper and take the paint off where the ground will be touching!

Ground is the key. Make sure the ground connection goes to he chassis like a seat bolt. Some surfaces can be sanded down but still have paint on the other side. The only way to be sure is to test your grounding point with a multimeter.

Yea read that thing out.. That's the only way to test for sure.. chassis grounds are the best.. other things are does the Whine increase with RPM?
