So my Escalade had a GREAT day today! Couldn't have gone any better to plan, both bumpers arrived at almost the same time and I was able to get everything installed (including exhaust) all in no time or stress at all. I upgraded the front end to the new Platinum Premium (half paint matched) and installed the new OEM dual exhaust rear bumper with custom exhaust (wasn't going to drop big $$$ on oem exhaust). I also gloss black vinyl wrapped the window trim; I'm still on the fence about this one whether I like it or not. Anyways, on to the pics.....

Modified exhaust and modified bumper brackets to make the new dual exhaust fit

funny you say that...I've debadged EVERY SINGLE vehicle I've ever owned, this is the first I'll actually leave them on though...but I am going to remove the badge as it is and move it over to the right side like the new 2012+ ones are. My plan is have it looking just like a 2012 Premium edition. Looking to do the paint matched side moldings and rear lisc plate cover and move the badge, possibly even the clear taillights but I'm on the fence about those as well.

Btw, is it just me or do you also need to change the hood to keep the platinum bumper lines to the chrome hood molding?

technically yes, but I'll explain for reference....the pics are with the stock non-platinum hood trim. When you have the Premium Platinum painted grill it actually looks better with the non-platinum chrome hood molding because it only goes to the chrome part of the grill and doesn't align with the actual paint matched part. With this you have 3 options I believe

1) Regular Platinum All Chrome Grill - Platinum Chrome Hood Molding

2) Painted Premium Platinum Grill - Non-Platinum Chrome Hood Molding

3) Painted Premium Platinum Grill - Painted Platinum Hood Molding (high $$$ to buy the "paint to match" trim and then pay for paint, atleast with DW)

Just paint the chrome from your local shop and call it a day it's a beautiful truck I didn't even catch it at first...

Any plans for the interior?
