everyone keeps recommending optima yellow tops

I have Yellow Top model number SC34DU and love it! The stock battery is a joke, especially in a suv.

if you pull the battery, does the Radio require a code to unlock it?

No. Or at least when they swapped mine, nothing of the sort happened.

i have a red top optima on mine .fits perfectly, had it trouble free for 4 yrs. and going strong. no re code on radio needed. that i remember.
