So I had the Flowmaster catback put in by a local shop. The at 81 mph I heard a clanking sound coming from the back. I pulled over and investigated and found that it appears that the new tail pipe where it goes over the rearend has low clearance between it and the body crossrail. It seems that the clanking I heard was the pipe rattling against the body rail. Any ideas as how to either lower the pipe or cushion the rail to fix this. Doesn't happen any other time except at 82+ mph.

I'd take it back to the shop that put it on. Maybe they'll fix it for free. All they'll have to do is bend it a little.

I know my brother had that issue a few times with his truck and it ended up being a hanger that was tucked away, it just kept popping in and out of it at certain times, but I second that on taking it back thats what my bro did.
