Okay so my exhaust is rusted out in my 94 tahoe. Time for a replacement, well I need to go the cheapest route possible. Whatever that may be. I've already got replacement headers (my old ones got warped when the old motor overheated) I'm buying one of those $80 cats from advanced. But as far a piping is concerned what would my best route be money wise?

Can someone move this to the correct section, the app on my phone posted in the wrong one.

That's a little over my budget I got someone who will weld it up for me just not sure if I can get away with maybe having it come out in front of my rear tires. And what kind of power loss I would see running without a muffler. Would 3 inch exhaust produce the best sound?

find someone selling oem exhaust then. your not going to find anything cheaper for a full cat back.

measure out what you need and order the pipe from autozone. they can get you 7' sections for cheap.then have your buddie weld it up.
Just dont expect it to last very long at all.

Okay thanks that's what I will do. Christmas killed me this year so if I just run a cat with no muffler how much low end torque could I expect to loose? I gotta get the truck on the road before me wife goes out of work for the pregnancy. Having 1 street legal vehicle between the two of us ain't what its cracked up to be.
