yesterday on the highway the hook decided to brake

off leaving a hole in the side of the pipe picked up one

and put it on and got a clamp on stainless tip but i didn't

use the clamps took them off and used rivets to hold it on

so it will be hard to take off i hope.

Don't you hate when that happens? A couple months ago, I was driving down the highway and heard a loud clunk, looked in my rearview, and saw my muffler doing backflips and bouncing off the road 10ft in the air.

Your idea of using rivets seem like they should hold well, as long as the heat doesn't cause them to fail.

paint the exhaust flat hight heat black it really makes the tip

stand out from the back and no rust on the pipe.
