Exhaust suggestions for a step above Borla stock?

My '08 XL came with the Borla exhaust option, and it sounds okay but I'm still curious of what's out there if I wanted just a step or two above that: Not racing or backcountry loud (this is a daily driver), but something more noticeable and possibly turn heads when I mash down on the pedal.

You have the exhaust, I'd recommend doing long tube headers. 1 3/4 will do you perfectly. Defiantly will get you the sound your looking for and add some hp and torque to boot

Sounds good, I've thought about headers but didn't know what type of sound they would add to the exhaust.
