Looking at getting new exhaust on my 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe. I want an aggressive sound but not to excessive. Muffler shop said super singles are better then dual because duals break all he time... Anyone have any opinions on this topic? Haha Thanks. :hands:

I'm not sure what he's talking about to be honest with you. If you want true duals do the true duals. You'll love the sound!! I prefer Flowmaster 40 series mufflers myself but a lot of people like Magnaflow too. IMO, both sound good but listen to a bunch of vid clips before purchasing because both have their own sounds....

:word: Bassani's do sound good! They are on the pricey side aren't they?

I just had a Borla put on my 04 Z71 Tahoe and had them put a slashed chrome exhaust tip too.. sounds beautiful. Had a similar set up on my 08 Sierra (sounded sick with long tubes and deleted cats)

Great "touring" sound

Well, I have magnaflows now and it drownds out the cab at times. Other than that the exhaust sounds good. I have heard super 40s and I LOVE THEM! They sound great. I would probably do a super single for the super 40s and just save $75.00.. I heard a corsa exhasut system and it didnt sound bad, anyone else have them? Thanks everyone

the 3" is ample for a stock LS motor, want inexpensive, just replace muffler. i did with a Flowmaster 50 series, dumped after muffler. Sounds good, not too loud and doesnt drone.
