Do the 2020 Suburbans have less 3rd row leg room than the 07-14 Suburbans? Maybe due to the fold flat seats, they sit lower to the floor?

My 2012 XL 3rd row has just as much leg room as the 2nd row

he's probably just referencing the Tahoe/Yukons...not so much the XL versions

I see a lot of reviewers mentioning a lot of wind noise on 2023 Sequoias from side mirrors, however none mentioned on 2022 Tahoes. Two Tahoes I drove had noticeable wind noise at 60+ MPH but I would not call it obtrusive. I wonder if for the reviewer to mention wind noise it has to be really bad?

My local dealer has 17 new 2022 Expeditions in stock with advertised discounts off MSRP. They are not even a high volume dealer like Granger Ford.

Personally, I'm waiting to see if 2024 will be a re-design.

Yeah it is really hard for me to get excited about the current design of the Expedition. Of course it is all personal preference and I'm sure some love it

Or maybe Ford will bring back the Excursion :)

Here's what I like about the GM full size SUVs:
- a naturally aspirated V8 is easier to repair/maintain than a turbocharged V6
- interior is more modern vs just a new dash for the Expedition

Here's what I don't like about the GM full size SUVs:
- you can't get the eLSD without getting the air suspension. I'm wary of air suspension that is not a supplement to coil springs because when the system fails your truck will be squatted to the ground and undrivable.

What may sway me towards an Expedition largely comes down to inventory or a more transparent ordering process. I view these full size SUVs are largely interchangeable and the differences (to me) are just minor inconveniences.

I wish there was a 3/4 ton or 1 ton full size SUV option. You would be able to haul people + gear + an enclosed track car trailer.

The new full size suvs can tow about the same as the old 3/4 ton versions like the 2500 suburban or excursion.

Tow ratings have certainly improved, but those tow ratings are largely due to powertrain improvements.
