Exterior care products

I recently acquired a 2011 Tahoe ssv. Prior to this I have pretty much driven old beaters. Never really waxed and worried about exterior maintnence. I have some products I swear by for my motorcycles, but would be very expensive to use for the Tahoe. I have what appears to be tiny little rust spots on my rear hatch. What products do you guys reccomend to get rid of that, and what's a good wax that's easy to work with and apply. Not sure if it matters, but the truck is white and I'm in MI.

Detailed mine last week. Took 5 hours. Clay bar then polish then wax. Boom!!
