So, as I'm sure we've all dealt with, the fuel pump has given me issues for a VERY LONG TIME. I was wondering if there has been anyone who has installed an external fuel pump in the engine bay/under car somewhere? Does anyone know of someone on fullsize chevy or any other forums with these model years? Thanks for any answers!

What's your issue with the in tank pump? I've had to replace my original at about 130K but other than that it's been fine. Use ACDelco and it shouldn't give you a problem.

Yeah, don't buy the parts store brand, they are NOTORIOUS for being crappy. An AcDelco is like 120 bucks on Amazon for a 4door.
