I recently installed 3" lowering springs with relocators on my Yukon and was wondering if in the front I could just get one inch of drop out of the stock keys?. I don't want to go lower in the front just wanna level it out and right now I'm about the inch higher up front. Are there any issues with just cranking down the keys to acieve the drop?

Thanks, Adrian.

Are you just trying to get 1" overall from stock using the stockers or did you use drop spindles and wanting 1 more inch? I've heard that if you decrank the stock keys you will achieve a mild drop but ride will suffer. I'm sure someone with more knowledge will chime in soon..

PM a memebr MAX on here, he can dial you in with some Ford keys for cheap that you can lower more safely than cranking down your stocks. :)

did you change rear shocks on rear?

Thanks. I used the existing shocks but the truck has 120k on it and looking into a new set of Bilstein shocks in a month or two.
I'll search for "Max" . Thanks.

Yeah, so it's not possible to just lower it with the stock keys without affecting the ride?

You will definitely have to get it aligned if you decrank the keys. You'll probably get a little lower but the ride quality might suffer. I've heard the turning radius will be stressed the tighter you turn as well.

Ride quality will suffer since you're effectively changing the spring rate. 'Purple' keys allow you to drop that inch while maintaining the same tension on the torsion bars. You will need an alignment either way...
