Ungh, my truck has caught Serges bug from his truck. My alarm fires off randomly, anytime no rhyme or reason. Happened after 6 months of installing the tilt sensor and shock sensor. Dosent seem to go off if i disable The sensor before exiting the truck. Im stuck if i should fix, or move on to a system that i really want, compustar Drone, where my phone is the remote.

I just stopped bothering with it ... I turn it off every time I turn off the truck. That's when the message bothers to show up on the DIC ... half the time I got to flip the ignition off and on 2/3 times for it to show up. This one is a live and learn fail ... in a couple of days I'm getting it disconnected and having them re-flash the computer.

it has to be one of the 2 componets. I replaced the hood switch, nada, im not going to replaced them all. I may just cough up the diag fee, but im also dont want to take it in to find out there "nothing Found". Although it may be a good time to have them start a oil consumption log.

I'm not gonna lie...had mine a month or two and it does the same thing...I was thinking it was sensitivity, but no matter if I turn it counterclockwise or clockwise it still goes off randomly. It's frustrating, I'm debating upgrading alarms as well :(

only thing to do is try to unplug one and see if it happens.

Hey Chris, ask them about if there is any warranty on the sensor

So should I call this morning and tell them not to install it???

Well I just did...more research is needed before I drop ~$250 on an install.
