I'm new to the forum and I've been searching old threads and I can't find what I'm looking for. I have a 2002 Yukon with the non Bose and with a sub. What is the output of the factory amp to the doors and sub?

I just purchased an 8" kicker to replace the sub. I'm wanting to replace all of the rest. I want to keep the factory amp and any recommendations on door speakers would be much appreciated.

I have a 2002 Tahoe non bose I replaced the head unit with a double din Pioneer went with Hertz speakers in the doors because they are designed to run without amp and work better just off the deck I wired around the amp just on the doors, reason being with the amp you will have mostly mid range I wanted lows and highs by bypassing the amp with the doors only and letting the rear speakers and sub run through the amp the sound I get is amazing I hear every note in the music. this link here will tell you how to do this. hope it helps. http://www.savagehomeautomation.com...ctory_High_Pass_Crossover_Bypass_Tahoe_02.pdf

I ended up installing an Alpine head unit, type s components in the front, type s coaxials in the rear, and a kicker sub in the factory box. It's all running off the factory amp. I'm pretty satisfied with the sound. A lot better than the factory stuff.
