What do you guys use to keep your stock running boards looking like new? I've thought about picking up some black paint and spraying them, i've tried the sprays and none of them last very long.

I just got my 2004 Tahoe. One owner (mother in law) and I used Mothers Back to Black. It turned all the faded trim to a great look again. Just make sure to wipe the running boards extra good. It could be very slippery otherwise.

I don't even step on them, i'm 6'4.lol I would like to take them off but it screws up the lines on the tahoe, once I finish the next two projects up I may just get some straight side skirts and put on it and do away with the steps.

6'4 also. I don't use em either. But my son does, he's 6 years old, and so far it's holding up well.

Wipe new. As seen on TV. Don't get it on your skin. Lasts a long time.
