Supercharger or turbo is not bolt-ons.

Headers, exhaust, underdrive pulleys, CAI, throttle body, tune, injectors....intake manifold maybe

OP what mods do you have? And post some times, I would like to see what it will take me to be faster than my buddies 302 ranger :)

how are those not bolt ons? those are the REAL bolt ons.

id be curious to see what kind of power there is to be made with the bolt ons you mentioned. i have a hard time believing theres THAT much additional power to be made without some major flow mods. and by major flow mods i mean like cylinder heads, cam, or boost. once any of those 3 have been modified, then all these minor bolt ons start making enough of an increase in hp IMO to make them worth the money. our trucks are setup/designed very well, so basically unless a major modification has been done, the cost to results just arent there IMO.

but after saying that, id put my money that the best mods out of the ones mentioned are long tube headers and a tune

ive always pondered on the ls6 intake but have always read about the fan clearance(which shouldnt be a prob for u with elec fan) and it would raise the powerband up. they say the loss of the bottom end is enormous with a truck that weighs 3 tons. did u notice a significant loss in bottom end?

No I havent but that isn't to say others don't. Surprisingly it pulls very well from a dig, I got a 1/2 length jump on a jeep srt8 until he walked me.

Since when can you not "bolt on" a supercharger or turbo???

How bout bolt on's without FI ?

Mainly, why would you want to take a vehicle of this size down a track?

If I wanted a fast SUV, I would have never sold my JGC SRT8......these trucks are made for space and comfort IMO ;)
