Looking to replace mine and I figure I should go ahead and upgrade from stock. looking for suggestions ...

Keep your GM all GM. Go to the dealership or your nearest AC Delco dealer and get OEM replacement parts.

I just put on NGK Iridium plugs and JBA wires and wow is it a difference. I love it and wish I replaced them sooner.

I tested every brand at auto zone once with a volt meter for resistance. MSD were the best followed by ac delco, don't bother with anything else.

Yeah I heard MSD's were good. But hey I havent really tried them out so who knows
