feeling a little thump

has anybody felt a thump after coming to a sudden stop 07 tahoe

Common issue. I used to have it, take it to the dealer and there is a TSB on slack in the diffrential. They will fix it and have you out if you are still within the 5 year 100,000 mile drivetrain warranty.

Yeah I get it, and I also get a HUGE thump when switching gears, but goes away so often... I brought it to the dealer n they said no problem... So I'm out of luck...

looking for TSB can`t find it dealer said yoke needed to be greased

That's likely correct - this was a very common problem with Trailblazers/Envoys and that seemed to be the root cause.

I have the same thing happen but its about 5-10 seconds after being completely stopped when I hear and feel the thump.

i thought it was the gas i released after eating my torta, but if anyone has the TSB#...please post it up.


my tacoe..i mean tahoe has the same lil beltching thump.
