Hahah.. very true. Funny thing she did know I had 24's on before and at a stop light someone asked what size they were and I said 26's and she repeated it to the person then looked at me and said I thought they were 24's I was like yeah remember when I switched awhile back. lol.. But the wife knows cars somewhat. She wants a all black Ranger Rover and the plates to be called MRS BLACK..

hahah that is pretty f'n hilarious!!! yea range rovers are nice but nothing beats a full size vehicle IMO. Your vehicle is definitely one of the reasons I went black this time :Handshake:

Lol you guys were ready to come get it installed! Lets just tell her it was $300 :secret:

Can you snap a pic of the 35% on the fronts? I'm debating going to 20% wanna see what yours looks like.

Yeah I have been pushing her to get a Escalade but she wants a smaller SUV. She doesn't like driving mine that much because it's to big.

Wow. What a day. First the check hadn't cleared from this weekend so when I walked into the bank to cash the check for my sold Tahoe, the check hadn't cleared yet so they had to call every chase bank in Metarie, LA to verify it (EVEN though I was at a chase bank AND it was a chase check). 60 minutes later I finally get the check and head out of Lafayette at 10am.

We get there are 2:30pm and ask to test drive the vehicle and as they pull it up, I notice the car has AFTERMARKET rims on it-- NOT the factory oem 22" rims on the eBay auction page. The guy who helped me on the phone this past Friday/Saturday was at lunch so another guy he referred me to was helping me out and was clueless on the car I had purchased. I refused to test drive it and had him pull up the Texas Auto page with the esky I had purchased. Sure enough, they had taken new exterior photos with the gross aftermarket rims and posted them on the Texas auto online page!

Then I pulled up the eBay auction page on my iPhone eBay app and it still had the factory oem 22's on and I showed the salesman and he said "no they are the same". I had to show him how the aftermarket has a deep dish and how the factory oem 22 is a flush rim. I demanded to speak to the manager and explained my situation. They apologized afterwards and said someone had bought an esky the day before and hated the aftermarket rims so he took the factory 22's off MY esky I had already put down a $500 deposit on and altered it -- which in itself is WRONG. They told me they were going to put the right rims on and to come back in 30-40 minutes. So I went and grabbed some lunch for about an hour and a half and get back at 4. STILL not done!!! At about 5pm we finally test drove it. Another hour for paperwork and at 7pm I FINALLY left! What a day... It was a long one but I got it lol. The esky is in mint condish and honestly in better condition then it looked online so overall I'm very happy with the vehicle but not so much the service at Texas auto. The finance guy was real nice though so it ended on a good note.

Finally had time to revisit this thread.... and scroll back tons of pages. :D

CONGRATS!
