Fender mouldings

I'd like to remove the aluminum arch mouldings. Seems to be the only way to remove them is to drill out the screws, because they will not move. Anybody have any other suggestions?

i had to try like 5 screwdrivers before i found one with the right head. i would try that before you drill. and make sure you are straight in and lots of elbow grease, otherwise they will strip. maybe some wd40.

speaking from experience, i've done it and its not worth the time. maybe it is to you, but the flares add something different to it
