well im not going to play with the switches all that much until i get another compressor and tank around christmas but i dont mind the compressor noise that much i already hooked it up to see how loud it would be where i mounted it and its not too bad i think when driving the exhaust will drown it out, but yea im sure im going to need another tank and compressor, and eventually maybe ill do a edc

how much are the engine driven compressors going for?

ya your def. gonna want more compressors/more air...gotta remember these things are heavy as **** and it will take alota air to get it up...

on my silverado i was runnin an EDC with 15 gallons of air, 1/2" lines and valves...that compressor would fill the 15 gallons in 2 minutes...1 480 would take over 10 minutes to do it, if not longer...also you get sick of hearing the damn compressor all the time..thats why an Engine driven compressor is awesome..

either way it will be sweet..

also you will def. wanna run some reducers on the fills...here is 1/2" valves and lines..granted its when i ran my compressor to 300 psi, but you get the picture haha..at least at first you will want slower fills, until you learn to control the switches better

looks good, i have a pressure switch that turns it off at 200psi...

ahh ya..if your not hittin switches all the time you will be fine..lol i said i wasnt going to be switch happy, but that changed the first day.

I got my EDC kit for about $600 from SD.com a few years ago..if i was to do it again I would just make a bracket and pick up a used EDC from somewhere...can be done for around $200 bucks..

I had a pressure switch, but then made it manual so i didnt have to deal with it being low on pressure...and i wanted to see if i could hop it lol

well later i might just try to find one used and order the bracket for my truck cus 200 is not bad at all, cheap as 1 new 480 compressor just about, was the hopping a success?

i said i wouldnt play with them either ahaha but i did. Like Nick said they are around 600 -700 bucks depending on where you get them. If you get the kit thought it comes with everything. On my obs i just bought a edc and had a bracket built. On my yukon i just got the kit.

lol it was not..the back came up about 5 inches but the front wouldnt come off the ground...o well hopping is ******* shit anyway..

even if you had to spend the full 600 on a edc kit, its so worth it..quiet, fast as hell and doesnt put a strain on your electrical system. people say "o it will kill your mpg because it runs off the motor" but its only on for 1-2 minutes at a time to fill the tanks so it doesnt hurt it at all..

if you do it, make sure you find a York 210..its bigger then the 209 that i had, and will fill it just that much faster

Def go at least 2 comps I am running one Viair 380c on a 7 gal tank and it takes for ever... And thats just b/c the other one crapped out on me.

BTW those shock waves up front wont be fast even with 1/2 valves b/c the fitting on the shockwave is only 1/4" Now the back on the other hand should pop straight up FAST...

Nope but it will soon... I decided to open up an automotive fabrication shop and will soon lay this thing out & use it as the "shop truck"

To kinda keep stuff a bit slower you can 3/8 lines with your 1/2 valves.
