Finally got her! ‘22 Tahoe LT - Evergreen Gray

Slightly delayed post but I think I had one of the fastest builds from what I’m seeing on her… was very fortunate after calling 10+ local dealers, I found one with an open allocation and selling at MSRP.

Ordered early December, late December build, received 2/11 (so effectively 2 months from order to receipt)!!

Heated steering is missing (got $25 and a promise to retrofit when the chip comes in)

Congrats! Your vehicle looks great!

Can you explain exactly what you negotiated with your dealership about the heated steering wheel and what the process is to get it retrofit when the chip comes in? Any ETA on the chip?

I am hoping to pick up my vehicle in 2-3 weeks and want to be ready to get the same thing done on mine.

The $25 is a std credit that everyone gets who has heated steering missing related to the chip supply constraints. Basically my build still shows I have heated steering but there is a component missing (and the button) to make it functional.

The expectation is Q3 2022, here is an article on it:

I had pretty much the same timeline, ordered in mid-Dec, picked it up on Feb 11 ... same issue with heated steering, i wasn't given a timeframe, but told that they would reach out to me when it was available

that is a nice color, i'm a big fan of colors that are just off Gray ... i went with Dark Ash, and i love the way it looks in different lighting

Can you share pictures of the dark ash? We ordered this color and would love to see more pictures . Dealers never have that color on the lot.

Dark Ash is a great color, I could've gone that way, wife really wanted the green gray though (and this is technically her truck)
