Finally posting a "build" thread. The progression of my stupidity.

Picked up a 6" drop hitch to town my co-workers trailer to the desert with my Quad in it.
Black vinyl rapped the two rear windows.
Took her to the desert for Thanksgiving, it snowed...
Changed the front+rear diff fluids, trans+transfer case fluids.
Another oil change.
Disconnected the Rad trans cooler and ran the external trans cooler by itself.
Air filter.
Trans again.

Pulled the remnants of the Sheriff's antennas and added a cell phone range extender.
Another oil change. and tire rotation.
Changed the cabin air filter.
Replaced all of the window trim and seals.
Another desert trip with the atv.
Another Santa Barbara Trip.
Did the Border Patrol bumper trim.
Put on some Dirt King UCA's.
Swapped to a 160* thermostat.
Another oil change tire rotation.
Did a muffler swap.
Got the 3' king coilovers on the front.

Glad to see that you were keeping 'hydrated' during the snow storm. :)

Haha yeah, hydration is important! That was actually just for the pic. I emptied that bottle before setting up my bed in the back the night before.
You dropping the pan for trans fluid changes, or pumping it out through the cooler line?
I dropped the pan on the first two after I burned the fluid which is why I did a change and drove it like A thousand Miles and then get another change.

That being said, whenever I finally get around to relocating my trans cooler and probably running AN lines for everything, I'll do another fluid change but try and pump it all out that way I know all of it is fresh.

Hauled a Bicycle up to Santa Barbara to hang with a friend.
Put in a Pioneer 8500NEX + front and rear cameras.
Added a Optima Yellow Top battery as a secondary.
Took her down some firer roads with a buddy.
Found out the Driver's side engine mount was trashed.
Put some Ray Bestos R3oo rotors and Police pads on it and a new motor mount.
Took her to my buddies in-laws in Havasu.
Launched the boat a few times...parked it among it's family.
Pulled his boat home.



It's coming, I'm on the clock now. It'll have to wait. :'(
How'd you do the Yellow Top secondary? Parallel or isolated?

Is there an ELI5 for this procedure? I want to drain and refill without dropping my AT pan.
I had to search that term to find out what it meant LOL.

I have seen it written up on numerous forums over the years and I’m sure it’s on yew tube. It’s not difficult: disconnect the cooling line at the radiator and then idle until it spits a little air; shut off. Refill the transmission and repeat until you see fresh fluid draining rather than old. Reconnect the line and then top off to the correct level.
