Finally posting a "build" thread. The progression of my stupidity.

Regular 87 & Stock(catback only) is junk! Only pulls .5g acceleration, so slow, and so numb.
This wasn't stalled up or anything, just matt the pedal.

Well, figured since I got her to pass smog yesterday, I'd treat her with an optima yellow top...To replace my champion battery that's less than 2 years old from pep boys(that no longer exists)...Had a 4-year warranty, made it about 18 months before it took a crap. It's actually been dead for a few months, but thankfully my other optima yellow top that I added 3 years ago has kept me going this whole time... That said, this yellow top was about twice the price of that other garbage that I just took out.

About 50lbs heavier this morning than yesterday. Still a tad quicker. This is with my old tune, trans definitely didn't have enough time to learn(still a bit softer than it was).
Didn't touch the maf or pe tables, GM turned this thing pig rich I guess.
Definitely need to fix my AN line for the ethanol sensor so I can get the good stuff back in it.
Do a run like that, then I guess intake back on and old air/fuel tables to go with it.

Well, I finally went and rebuilt my flex fuel line adapter.
Didn't put it on yet.
But tried to do some tuning without it, and no matter what I did it was commanding like, 10.3afr. realized that was due to the virtual sensor failing and reading incorrectly, and then even when I updated the tune and told it there's a physical sensor, (despite not having it connected), it was reading zero but still apparently throwing an error and telling it to run super rich ...
So I'm going to try and redo all that testing once I put the physical sensor back in and really see what it does.
I should have known something was up when I saw the stock tune running as rich as it was. I don't remember ever seeing those numbers previously.

In other news, the trans has finally gotten real close to what it was previously. Starting to feel real good and firm again. Haven't retuned the trans, just writing calibrations to the E(P)CM.

Finally put the lubelocker gasket on the 14bolt to replace the new and failed felpro I had on there.
Topped it off with amsoil.
No puddles under it this morning.

Needs a wash and check the oil level before I put a few hundred miles on it this weekend.

Got the new Mechman 250amp alt installed after the original 165,000mi-old 160amp alt started dropping voltage at idle.
With the original alternator, my belt tensioner was perfectly in between the lines, with the new one having a smaller pulley, it's at the most loose part of the tensioner mark.

Did "the big 3" upgrade.
Still need to get some loom to cover up the wires from some abrasion that is likely to happen.
And once I run a new lead for my sub amp, I will shorten and re-terminate the wires going into the distribution block on the positive terminal to clean that up.
And although the original cable still looks great and hasn't had an issue, I will probably replace the wire for the starter as well at the same time as that other stuff.

Well, bought some more trash.
Borrowed my buddies trailer to grab it.
And temporarily storing the eyesore on his property.
Tongue weight was pretty good despite the squat. It actually rode better with all that weight over big bumps than when I'm not towing.
And the king shocks handled the bumps like a champ. No bouncing around. Apparently they're dual purpose. Off-road and towing they seem to do the job exceptionally well.

The TaHoe may have a new name. TowHoe.

Tire rotation, oil change, 4.5 year old battery out, new battery in, and check up on the 18-month-old battery.
