Finally pulled the trigger

Went ahead and ordered the Borla S type cat back and the Volant CAI with the dry filter last night. Maryland Speed gave me a killer deal plus Volant has a $50 mail in rebate. Ive had good luck with both brands in the past so I figured what the hell! Now I just have to wait for my parts to come in.
Next on the list big brake kit and maybe upgraded sway bars.

Ok so I installed the intake. Definitely had some issues. It said to only remove the small cross support bar but removing the larger one also helps. I also had to remove the straps for head light wiring harnesses to get the huge Volant air box in place. Their install instructions say to screw the box down first. Definitely wait till the end to mount it in place this way everything lines up. The instructions are for a Silverado or Tahoe so that could be why I had some issues.

so far it sounds great! I have a cold start and warm start video clips but can't get them to post
The intake has about 150 miles on it the exhaust only has 30. My Cadillac dealership did the install for $125. They also hooked it up to their computer to zero out the sensors.

Hooking it up to their computer to zero out sensors? Sounds like they fed you a line. They probably just cleared the engine codes.
