Got these done yesterday and I have to say it was quite challenging.

1. getting the stock ones out(if this forum weren't here, I wouldn't have attempted this).

2. getting the hids to fit the housing

3. and most of all....aiming them!

Had a chance to drive it around some over the last couple of nights and have not gotten flashed once so thats a good thing. The light output is pretty awesome when you compare it to halogen. Wow!

I attached pics of what the Hella halogens that I had in there looked like, then the DDM kit. And some final images of the vehicle.

those look good. How do you like the projectors? I guess was it worth the project. Thinking about doing mine, just unsure still about the hassle of it.

The projectors are nice. Still think I may have some re-aiming to do. For right now they are fine. Gonna ride with them for awhile to determine if further adjustment is needed.

Overall it was worth the hassle.

Looks real nice. I've been looking at those or the black ones. They look nearly stock.

Also thinking about doing this, mostly to be able to use HIDs with a projector housing. What did you do about the DRLs? It seems like an advantage of this design is that you could use the LEDs for the DRL and not mess up the HIDs. Also can you comment on the quality of the headlight assemblies?

IMG_1813.jpg This is a pic of the stock housing with the 55w hella bulbs.

IMG_1815.jpg This is a pic of the projector housings with the 35w DDM kit. Much better output!

And be ready to do some modifying of the bulb opening because the hid bulb is too wide for the projector housings. Have your dremel ready. Shouldn't take you too long.
