I picked up a set of Firestone Transforce ATs I was informed there a commercial tire and work well On road and Off road.. I picked them up with about 90% tread and on a set of stock chevy wheels for less the 200$.. Will they be a good tire for winter?

Not sure on them. Dad used to run a Firestone tire on the car hauler. Properly inflated, properly rotated, never sat for more then a couple weeks. We drove the car to the track and the tires started shedding the rubber in belts. We do not run firestones for the reason.

I love Firestone, I've had nothing but good things to say about them. I had Firestone Destination AT's on my 99 Tahoe, 97 Yukon and 96 Silverado. I can't imagine yours are much different. So I think you'll like them.

you should like them, had them on the work truck at work (01 F-350 PSD) and never got stuck or had any issues

a tire is a tire for the most part. but they are the cheapest/lowest quality tire out there. sometimes they work fine, others not so much.
